Desierto (2018)

DESIERTO es una investigación sobre la relación entre las personas y la noche. La ciudad no está ‘allá afuera’ sino que está también en el cuerpo. ¿Cómo nos relacionamos con el paisaje urbano nocturno? La cartografía de la ciudad se transforma dramáticamente, así como también nosotrxs mismxs. La oscuridad nos demanda atención y presencia.

Las fotografías fueron tomadas entre las once de la noche y las dos de la mañana, en el barrio de Microcentro, Buenos Aires.

DESIERTO is a photographic investigation about the relationship between people and nighttime. The city isn’t only ‘out there’, instead, it is also within out bodies. ¿How do we connect with the nocturnal urban landscape? The cartography of the city changes dramatically, as well as ourselves. Darkness demands presence and attention.

Pictures where taken between 11pm and 2am in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
